California University of Professionals (CUP) announced today it has become an affiliate member of The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), United States. Membership in CAEL affords CUP the access to college-level educational opportunities.
“Education is at the forefront of what we do here at CUP,” CUP Director, Bruce Allen Veldhuisen said. “Membership with CAEL affirms and grows that. Working adults deserve a place where they can expand their learning while balancing their career schedules. It doesn’t have to be one or the other, and I’m proud to add CAEL as part of our support for the initiatives at CUP.”
CAEL membership provides CUP with engagement with educators, employers, and community leaders to align learning and work so that adults achieve continuous, long-term career success. The organization collaborates with educators, employers, and community leaders to develop programs that benefit the communities their students come from. They currently partner with more than 300 postsecondary institutions, employers, and government agencies in the United States and abroad.
CUP is a professional learning institution for all TEFL International (TI) members in good standing. As a membership-based institute, TI provides aspiring professionals with the foundations to suit the needs of the global learning community in focused industries such as business and teaching.
